Photography should remain a mystery, a source of timeless emotions. I founded the atelier20 photo at a time when photography was being jeopardised by its abundance and by new technologies. In spirit, the discipline will always demand to be seen through an eyepiece, that of the photographer, the rest is mere sophistry. It must be universal, whatever the culture or the era, it must intrinsically trigger emotion at first sight, without the slightest artifice.
